Programming & Events

In May 2024, we hosted the inaugural Building Resilience conference at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. We convened a group of legal scholars and psychology researchers to discuss the ways in which we can cultivate psychological resilience, well-being, and adaptive mindsets among law students. Presenters and attendees were invited to explore student interventions that can be seamlessly integrated into legal education and other professional programs. By bringing together experts from a diverse group of legal educators, psychologists, and practitioners, the conference set the stage for significant advancements in legal education, ultimately benefiting both students and the legal profession as a whole.

Conference Presentations

We are also very engaged in the academic realm, presenting at various conferences and workshops, having presented at SXSW EDU, Association Legal Writing Directors (ALWD), Institute of Law Teaching and Learning, Legal Writing Institute (LWI) Biennial Conference, South Eastern Association of Law Schools (SEALS) Annual Meeting, The Human Potential Summit, University of Virginia’s Inclusive Futures: Belonging in Higher Education and Beyond, and more.
